Jodi Smith, Munich 2025
Jodi Smith (b. 1999) is an Australian painter based in Munich since October 2024. She studies Fine Arts (Diploma) at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München in the class of Prof. Anke Doberauer, working primarily in oil on canvas — between surrealism and figuration.
Raised on Dharawal country (New South Wales, Australia), she first studied History and Visual Arts at the University of Wollongong (2018–2022). Alongside her academic work, she is closely tied to Munich's music and festival scene: stage building, sign design and live painting for Klangtherapie Festival, Feels Festival and jam sessions with the band Shimmel Kinder.
